The homepage is simple and neat with the google logo and a search bar in the middle of a white screen. The navigation isgood and the text is easy to read. Google is updated every second, so it always has up to date information. google is very interactive with links to every page you search up and all content is relevant to the site. You usually find the information and sites you are looking for google which is why it is the most popular search engine in the world. Google also lets you search images, videos, news, books, discussions, blogs, and places. You can stream videos on google video, search up images, check news, and use google maps to find places around the world.

Design

Googles simple design is appealing and attractive. The site is very organized and everything is easy to find. The font, colours, background, are all good and expected of a search engine. The websites menu bar and home button are consistent on every page so it's easy to navigate through the website. You do not have to scroll a lot and each page is excellently sized. the menu bar is on the left and navigation is simple and obvious. the site is not deep at all unless you can't find what you are searching for then their are millions of results to go through. You can customize your search settings and google remembers your previous searches.

Technical Aspects

The URL is appropriate for google as it is the name of the site. Google is one of the fastest loading sites on the web. The page names are quite confusing and are extremely hard to make out what you searched for. The source code is unorganized since there are so many pages on google for every search term. Google rarely has broken links but sometimes might and grammar may be wrong for a lot of the results. Google does need flash or any plug-ins to use. Google is very easy to find and is compatible with all internet browsers since it is known by most people in the world.
